Portable cabins are an excellent solution to space issues at home, work, or at a job site.
Versatile and portable, cabins can be placed almost anywhere.
But, how do you choose the right cabin to rent?
There are lots of options and different providers out there in the marketplace, and it can be overwhelming to narrow down which is going to be the best fit for your situation.
Here at Just Cabins, we want to make things easy for you. So, we have a range of cabin sizes that will suit almost any need. We also deliver New Zealand wide, offering short and long term rental options.
So, have a quick read of this article to find out how you can choose the right cabin to rent.
What Do You Need It For?
The first question you want to ask yourself, is why do you need a cabin and what are you going to use the cabins for?
Will the cabin be extra space for the family? An additional bedroom? A home office area? Extra room on a commercial site? Worker accommodation?
For our purposes, it doesn’t matter which of these situations you are in, there is a cabin that will suit you. But, knowing what you will use the space for will help to establish what size cabin you need.
There is also the option to get more than one portable cabin if you need separate spaces for individual family members, or if you have colleagues with different work requirements.
What Are You Going To Put In It?
Once you have established the function of your rental cabin, it’s time to consider what you are going to put inside. We obviously want to ensure you have enough space for everything!
If it is a bedroom space, think about how many people will be sleeping in there and what bed configuration is required. Will you also need space for a couch or armchair, maybe even a desk to study at, and don’t forget storage!
For home office space, consider how many desks you will need, if there is a requirement for a meeting space, or if you need to fit salon chairs or physio tables inside.
This will help to establish the size of the cabin you will need. For example, if you just need to fit in a bed, desk and storage, then a standard cabin would suit. However, if you have a couple of work desks and need a meeting space, or require worker accommodation, then an extra large cabin would be more suitable for your purposes.
